Over the past six years, Christine Correa has
introduced the school to such interesting activities as Ceramics, Tai-Chi,
Silk Screening, Photography and Boat Building. These programs, which utilize
the talents of local artisans, are in conjunction with Christine's ongoing
teaching of drawing, painting and helping the boys discover the artist
who lives in each of them.
Thanks to some very generous donations, The
Deck House School was able to raise in excess of $65,000 to construct
a new 24' x 24' art studio. This eagerly anticipated building is the first
new construction ever completely financed by donation in the history of
the School. We are all extremely excited at the possibilities this building
presents, and we look forward to utilizing it for years to come.

The Deck House School has completed its most ambitious
building project ever. Since the school started in 1979, it has been
a dream of the community to bring everyone under one roof. This addition
brings three double bedrooms, a bath, and housemaster's suite into the
main building.
